Another place is http://www.toptropicals.com/ in florida.

They have both the regular  (Synsepalum dulcificum) and a giant version (Synsepalum subcordatum) which according to them bears more fruit and earlier. I just ordered one of each. I will report back when they arrive next week.

I have also seem plants on ebay (very recently) shipping from Puerto Rico. These are 10" plants. The above florida source seems to have much bigger plants.

Check this uk ebay link. The US vendor will ship international.

From what I have read seed to fruit is 2-3 years.

Both those links are great, thanks! But before I grow it, I'd probably want to see what it's like first. I take it there's nobody importing the actual fruit into the U.K?

I was able to find them using Google.  I've already added them to the list.

Sorry about that ! It was late and I am lazy. Jene's tropical fruit in St Petersberg Fl. 727 344 1668
the plants are fruit bearing appx 3 yrs old and 39.95 shipping is about 20.00

If you live near Granada Hills Ca. there is a guy named Alex Siebert at the papaya tree nursery. He has some trees 6 years old for 263.00 that's about 1/2 price. I was really tempted, but got blown away by traffic ! Jen

Miracle fruit trees are available at Kham Tiang Market near Lotus Superstore in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I bought a 3 foot, fruiting tree for 200 baht (approx. $5)
