Miracle Fruit tablets have been withdrawn for sale in the UK by the Food Standards Agency as they are an unauthorized food with regards the Novel Foods Act. We're challenging this absurd decision and hope to get it overturned as soon as possible.  Please email us for more information.

Wow that is rediculous. I am glad these agencies exist to keep thing safe, but it doesnt seem unreasonable that a ground up berry should be hard to confirm as safe. Sorry to hear about how it affects your business though.

It's not entirely clear what the precise situation is but we hope that other miracle fruit vendors will work together with us to get this decision overturned through the proper legal channels.

Yes, there is a certain amount of inconsistency with the FSA's other decisions on "novel foods" such as Goji berries.

As a bump of this topic i recently just got kicked off of amazon and my listings removed selling Mberry miracle fruit tablets for this exact reason.

Trading standards got the listings taken down and i was never given a real reason. There is so much grey area around it that its clear they just make them illegal for false reasons. Otherwise they would just be straight up about why its illegal and for what reason.

Its most certainly a ludicrous decision but hey the FDA and FSA have proven that they do not work off facts and more so money under the table.
